Because my own little band would do nothing to advance the ColdFusion
language. It would not help to keep the language focused on it's core of
getting the job done quickly and simply.

What others, or at least some others think of me is important to me. I'm an
introvert forcing myself to be an extrovert. I can take a few knocks but
when I get trounced by people I respect, it forces me back to my core
introverted self. Introverts stick to their small comfort group and don't
get out into the wide open. Writing is the wide open. Speaking publicly is
the wide open. I love doing both, but...

I was once the bad boy of ColdFusion (really) but I've been trying to be
good. This is the first time I've complained about something in the
community that directly affects me since the first community suite thing 9
years ago. If you see me going against the grain in general and I don't then
I have to readjust my view of myself.

I'm definitely not doing my job right. I don't want to be over anyone's
head. I don't want to be 'up there'. I want to bring everyone 'up there'. Or
explain 'up there' so that it doesn't seem so far up.

YOu know I love you and would never blast you...in public. :)
ok, never blast you at all.

I'm just venting about something that's been there for almost a year. I
should just say fuck it (yes, those words) and just do my thing no matter
what. So I piss off Adobe. They don't pay me for anything. So I piss off
pundits for certain paths of thought. What can it do, stop them from writing
for Fusion Authority or Flex Authority? Screw it all.
Give me a few minutes and I'll blog some code and concept on standardized
urls and SEO.
