Dumping syndrome from diarrhea can cause weakness and fainting. This is an issue I deal with often after my stomach treatments. I make sure to brace myself when I'm sitting on the john so I don't fall if I pass out. The BF has suggested I install a seat belt. He's found me more than once slumped over against the bathroom sink after a particularly vicious bout of stomach distress.
Pain meds can also cause both dizziness/fainting and stomach problems. Could also have been the salmon.
