If you jumped out of bed, you most likely just experienced a drop in blood pressure from going vertical too quickly. Totally common. The bad guts may or may not be related to the fainting.
But, as a side note - what pain meds are you taking? My husband passed out once after he'd taken Alleve. He wound up with a concussion and broken jaw. Falling face-first from 6'4" is apparently rather dangerous.
