I think that's bullshit, but that's not even the point here.  If you
watch the TV clip on the first link Erika posted, Expedia was told
about a property listed as a "hotel" that was actually an apartment
building will illegally rented rooms that did not match the photos and
description of the property on Expedia.

Expedia's solution was to change the verbiage on their site, not to
take the hotel off the site.  Even after being told about the problem
they don't care.

Travelocity even has a Guarantee that the info on their site is
accurate.  I'm not saying Travelocity follows through 100% on it all
the time, I have no idea if it does.  But Expedia seems to be PUBLICLY
taking the entirely opposite tack - "use our site at your own risk".
