As I said, I'm all for the safety nets.  Used pell grants and such myself.

If you're poor and can't afford insurance, then you should get the
government plan a la Medicaid.  Is that controversial to you for some
reason?

Tetanus shots would be included pro bono from the tax payer of course.

The reason Medicaid/Medicare doesn't cover everyone is because the
people that pay taxes and vote have historically not wanted to pay for
it.

Maybe that's changed, I dunno, but if so it's going to be expensive
for the reasons I've already said:

1.) Domino's Pizza.

2.) Run away provider costs.

3.) Crisis health care mentality.

And Medicare with no changes is already in the hole $30,000,000.  Of
course that's not an exact number, it's just for directional
alignment.
