You only seem to mention SUVs in your posts though.

You really need to learn not to focus in on one small point. All high
mileage vehicle would be taxed. not just SUV's.

Besides, I was not discussing market control, but using the same methods
that have been used for smoking and drunk driving to encourage people to use
more fuel efficient vehicles. It works.
