No, I was really comparing what the government was funding in both cases. I still am. Acorn has done a lot of good work and has been consistently funded through several changes in the political party controlling the Presidency, House and Senate.
If you are claiming that Acorn is a tool of the Left for the defeat of capitalism (which is what I'm gleening from your screeds), my point was comparing that support to an admittedly conservative movement on the Right that gets consistently funded at a much much higher rate. Anyway, I don't think that ACORN was a conspiracy to undermine capitalism when Bush funded it, just like I don't think it is now.
