It has worse outcomes for a variety of important measures, especially likelihood of contracting an STD, and does nothing to delay the median age of first sexual encounter. Furthermore it tends to present scientifically inaccurate and dangerous information. Regardless, it is very much a classic example of the government pushing a social/moral ideology. You are decrying that same behavior when it comes to ACORN. ACORN hasn't gotten even 1/30th of the funding that abstinence-only programs have and it has gone to programs that actually are shown to improve peoples lives. Sounds like selective outrage.
