That's an interesting statement because for me that's exactly it: if I search for truth - and find it - then I will be on the same level as God. That's exactly what I believe! And I believe that the search for truth could be, for example, done via the study of quantum mechanics. Or Buddhism. Or Shintoism. The study of any of these could be used to find the truth - attain the light - and therefore elevate one to the same level as God. And yet - in my definition - could still be Christian. I could be a Christian who chooses to use the study and practices of Buddhism to attain the light. John would never agree with that. Thomas would not only agree with it, he lived it. So for me, Thomas all the way. As to why John was selected over Thomas, you're right we'll never know, but if we apply originalism it would certainly make sense. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
