First off: would you think "Jesus-type-whatnot!"? Secondly, to take this thought experiment a step further, let's posit that the person actually says "God gives me these powers, we're tight, and talk all the time", or something of similar sentiment. To sum it up (sorta): Is it luck? -- Old age, believe me, is a good and pleasant thing. It is true you are gently shouldered off the stage, but then you are given such a comfortable front stall as spectator.
