Which, as far as we know with current science, *may* have had 
contributing factors similar to conditions caused by human activity.  
So, it is not inconceivable that whatever natural cycle the planet is 
currently going through, human activity could be accelerating, 
aggravating and|or modifying the results.

Even if that is not true that humans are doing anything to the climate 
and this a completely natural warming trend.  Any trend of a similar 
scale to some that *have* happened historically is still perfectly 
capable of screwing over humanity.  Thus it should probably be taken 
seriously.

Would it not be so nice that all the disappearing ice and glaciers was 
only caused by some hokum with some numbers somebody has in a database.  
The only real trouble with that hope is that by the time one can prove 
it with historical data it is rather too late to do anything about the 
results if it turns out to be true that the world is considerable warmer 
in the future.
