The point I'm making (and the one you're avoiding) is this: (1.) We're pretty sure of the weather for the last 130. You agree with that. We know temperatures and they are cross referenced by multitudes of sources. (2.) A simple analysis via eyeball of those temperatures shows that we've had the warmest decade for at least 13 decades. (3.) That trend is more than double the statistical requirement for "special cause" variation. Now you might be right: this trend may indeed prove to be "common cause" variation. But keep in mind we've got double the time period confirmation of special cause. That's pretty strong, but certainly not proof. Therefore you have data and scientific analysis to be concerned and, if you're not, then you're a fool or you're ignorant. Since I've just explained this all to you, you can't claim ignorance. So you need to decide if you're a fool or not and, if not, what you're going to do about it. And that second part is when you decided if you're a coward or not. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
