I think just about all of us do...it's really, really hard to be a pure
cultural relativist. You would have to theoretically allow for the
possibility of ANYTHING.

The "answer", if you will, is, as usual, somewhere in between. We need a
respect, a healthy respect, of other cultures. But there must be limits,
areas where our action's justifications must be superseded by the
fundamentals of our common humanity...instead of by the cultural boundaries
we've drawn for ourselves.
