There were Buddhist monks who set themselves on fire to protest the Vietnam war. That's pretty extreme. The media being what it is, the extremists are going to get the coverage. It's up to those of us who aren't extreme to reclaim our faith, and when the media covers the extremists by using the name of our faith, to speak up and say "those people do not act or speak in my name". I love Jesus. I'm just not fond of some of his fan clubs.
