Choice? If I had a choice I would be doing full time permanent with bene's work...except that choice is not readily available. I wish it was just a choice...
In the 11 years I have been doing this, I have had the privilege of about 3 or 4 actual permanent positions...the rest have all been contract work. I have been pretty much forced to do contract work. Either you want more on an hourly bases, you're starting your own consulting business or there just isn't any choice. The latter will become more common. As for insurance you do have a choice, as for starters you're covered by the VA, then if you sign on to full time job you are automagically accepted with your pre-existing condition.
