The plans are still regulated by the states. The original bill had a national exchange, which would have been better because it would have standardized coverage and spread the love over an even wider pool, thus dropping prices even further. Simple economics.
If that is the case Sam, then that will drop insurance rates even further. You company can drop your current plan for another now, so what is different? How is it that some insurance > options are better than none? If my company drops my insurance I change jobs or I go back to buying my own plan on ehealthinsurance.com. But you miss the point, if the bulk of companies drop expensive plans to stay competitive, and we know the economy won't recover while Obama's in office, then they will save millions by dumping people into the exchange and paying the fine. Since it will then be the same crap everyone else has who'll complain. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
