Sorry, but despite what you may want to think, common and international laws are not predicated on proportionality. Never have been. Yes, people love to say how Israel reacts with more force than their foes but thats the way EVERY country acts. We didn't go into Afganistan with a few pistols. We went in with superior firepower.
