Define "GIS capabilities". Or is it up to me to define it for me. I have tried some GIS tools and they have been overkill as well as not really geared to creating a map from a blank 'page'. At least not from what I was able to figure out from exploring the user interface for an hour or two. I.E. way more features then I need create some large scale contour maps with a few simple geological and geopolitical features.
