Small businesses, the entities that create most of the jobs in this country, got dick from the stimulus and bailouts. That's a huge part of the problem, as Eric pointed out. Money that was supposed to flow to small business from the bailed out banks is sitting in those banks' coffers instead of being lent to small businesses.
