I have to be honest,  I will try to stay interested, but, without a
team to root for, or even vague knowledge of any other team/players, I
will likely not be watching anymore of the tournament.

I'd have to say, two things that really burn my ass about soccer are:

1. The acting that goes on. To me, its truly distracting and takes
away form the integrity of the game.

2. The officiating leaves some thing to be desired. It seems to me
that, in the few games I watched, that at least some of the refs
had/have an agenda. Penalties would be called against one team, but
ignored when the other team did the same thing.

Oh and those stupid fucking vuvuzelas. Holy shit was it annoying
watching a game with that noise in the background.
