I don't think that things will ever change. The people who espouse racism are teaching this to their children, and they will teach it to their children as well, and on it goes. I do hope that some day we will have not only racial equality across the board, but gender and sexual orientation equality as well. But as long as racist parents teach their kids to be racist, as long as men believe that women are inferior and they teach this to their subordinates or children, as long as churches preach their homophobic versions of the bible regarding homosexuality (my favorites are when people quote from Corinthians or Leviticus and use the word homosexual. They don't know that homosexual was not in the ancient Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic languages. It was not introduced to America until the late 1800's), nothing will change soon. Sad but true.
