(Left will claim it's all the former, while the right will claim it's all the latter....but as usual, the answer is somewhere in the middle). The politics side, they'd point to the shutdown and say "Look at what the President made us do!" and blah blah blah, hoping the gullible buy into that bullshit. As to the conviction part, they truly believe that our current spending is at a critical point of no return, and that such a drastic measure is necessary in the short term in order to ensure a better long term. We can, and probably should, argue whether or not they are right about that....but mostly you'll just hear people arguing that they don't really even have that conviction to begin with....and the pointless noise will just continue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:335945 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
