Gay isn't transgender though. Transgender would be being physically being one sex, but mentally (aka how your brain is wired as opposed to mental illnerss) being the other. Then you have hermaphrodites who are physically both...what do you do with them? Removing parts to "force" them into one gender or another is bad too. They had a show on Discovery health about that a few months ago. The poor kid was totally fucked up. She was born with both genetalia and all the accompanying sex organs and the parents, thinking they were doing the right thing, had the male parts remove and she was brought up as a girl. That didn't work out so well as her brain was also wired differently...
