See, now that is a completely different scenario.....and an entirely
different discussion. Yes, that is a difficult situation, and I think in
that situation you would have to give the child the latitude to figure out
their own gender identity (with a lot of help to answer their questions
along the way). Absolutely.

But this story is about a child born with perfectly normal plumbing....I
just don't see how it's wrong to describe to them what that plumbing is, and
how it's normally supposed to work? If years later they decide they want
diffe

To Mo's point earlier, yes, of course it's their child and they can do
whatever they want...but that doesn't mean we can't criticize them if we
think they are doing their child a disservice.

I'm not going to predict whether the kid will be effed up or not.....could
turn out just fine, could wilt underneath the microscope his parents are
putting her under. (yes, i'm having fun with gender pronouns :) I just know
I'd never do this with my child, in fact I'd consider myself a negligent
parent if i did this...and I can't for the life of me even follow the logic
as to why anyone would think this is a good idea.

But i'm trying.
