The Afghan was about 9/11. The plans for invading Iraq were on the table before 9/11 happened, and when it happened, it because the rationale. The Iraq war was about a lot of other things - oil, revenge for Saddam threatening Bush Sr., enriching the weapons manufacturers etc but it was never about 9/11.
