Exactly there have been plenty of research done on this but it boils
down to this. For early childhood education alone, every dollar
invested in quality early care and education saves taxpayers up to
$13.00 (web.mit.edu/workplacecenter/docs/Full%20Report.pdf). And that
ratio increases the further the kid goes through school. Also for
every dollar spent on education, states generally get back over $10 to
$20 in taxes. If anything that's an incredibly cheap investment that
gets a huge return.
