It costs 80 bucks to take the exam and it comes out of the student's pocket. Kids shouldn't take the class. Most CC classes deal in some way with algebra. This one is actually a collection of subjects outside of algebra: logic and truth tables, set theory, and finance. I teach them how to calculate mortgages, which is a real eye opener. We cover add on interest versus compounded interested. We cover inflation and a bunch of other stuff.
