Well (and this is just how I choose my phone), I tend to look at what sorts of tools you use in the rest of your technology ecosystem. If you are into alot of Google stuff, GMail, etc then Galazy S3 might make more sense. If you're all Windows all the time (SkyDrive, Outlook.com), then a Windows phone might be better. I generally look at the other tools I use and pick a phone that fits into that system the best. Making calls and checking my email are basic things I can do on any phone.
