Just the opposite for me. I had an iphone 4 for two years. Recently upgraded to a Galaxy S3 and have not looked back. I could not handle apple's proprietary, nanny attitude any longer. Plus, I am 6'5". I have big hands. The extra real estate is nice. Several other programmers I work with have switched. One said that the "iPhone is just boring now."
