redistricting attempt) makes this a blatant power grab.

But in combination with the severe gerrymandering that the Republicans are
getting away with in the state, this turns back the voting demographic
changes in the state for the last 25 years, effectively guaranteeing a
majority of sate electoral votes going to the Republican candidate
regardless of the actual outcome.
