The stupid thing is that they could have won the redistricting issue - Bill
Bolling, Lieutenant Governor of Virginia is a republican and maybe would
have voted for it. - hard to say though given his recent screwing over by
the party. But coupled with the attempt to change how the electoral votes
are apportioned, its a sleazy attempt to turn back the clock and make sure
Virginia stays republican both in the state and the national context. You
don't need better policies, more involved party members or efforts at
better governance, you just need sleazy tactics.
