Trayvon Martin was not giving him shit. He was walking home with a bag of Skittles to watch a football game with his dad. He wasn't entering anyone's building. He wasn't stealing anything.
Zimmerman had problems with a caricature of Martin. He had beef with the idea of someone, not with him. Zimmerman projected his issues on someone else and that someone else paid the price, in this case, with his life. That's kinda different.
