Can you explicitly point out where I'm advocating anyone giving up rights?
Because I'm not. I'm advocating that individual rights be balanced, which
is how a constitutional republic works.

Should an individual be allowed to run their business their way? Yes they
should.
Should an individual be free from discrimination, equal under the law, able
to live their private life the way they want and only be judged at work on
the quality of their work? Yes they should.

So what happens when those two ideals come into conflict? That's the
problem. It isn't about group anything, it is due process, it is individual
rights, it is enshrining the equality we envisioned in our founding
documents into law and process. And it's a balance.
