That's ghey and nobody is saying the sky is falling. If you teach 1st
graders repeatedly how great it is for same sex folk to do it but never
mention it's also ok to do it for folks of the opposite sex, one might
think they're trying to indoctrinate. While that is an extreme view, one
has to wonder why so much focus on being gay. Are they a sub class of
people? Are they routinely attacked and ridiculed? Hard to watch tv at
night without thinking half the population is gay.

So all the top experts love it and swear by it, but a few knuckle draggers
don't like it? Sounds like you've already made your mind up.

 People

Yep, you did. Hope and Change still works on you.

What if it isn't.

We won't really know until we try.

I love the scientific thinking.

Now you're blaming the parents? The new standards weren't developed by
teachers or education experts. They were developed by people making money
off of this scam. States are starting to back off and that's great news.
This really needs to be done by educators, not Arne Dunkin and friends.
Mainly Bill Gates guaranteeing MS has it's hand in the cookie jar for the
next century.

At least test drive it. See what this new approach is TRYING to do, before

We are test driving it. It's law in Maryland and several other states. It's
not going well.

Straw man?

I am trying it. I help my daughter with her homework. It's a joke. I also
taught her the old fashioned way to do math and her teacher allows her to
use it. The other 5th grade math teacher forced kids to do CC Math. Poor
kids.
