I haven't had any issues with it...my daughter is going into 4th grade next year.

I've read experts who swear by it, backed by research, and others who are highly critical of it. People are so resistant to change. If it's for the better, then by FSM let's do it. We won't really know until we try. I also have little sympathy for parents who are pissed because they can't help their kids with their 4th grade home work. Geeesh, set down your fucking cell phone, take a few minutes and learn something new for a change.....it ain't gonna kill you. At least test drive it. See what this new approach is TRYING to do, before making up your mind. Or alternatively, decide that it makes you gay and reject it outright. I guess that's the easiest approach. Disclaimer: My kids haven't quite reached elementary school yet, so i haven't actually been exposed to it. When I actually learn about it and try it out, I may become a critic...but I intend to at least try it first.
