Montessori is nothing like common core.
We don't use Stanford tests in MD and I'm not sure why it would be testing
for 9th grade on a fifth grade test. This is the second year for the CC
test in our school and last year my daughter got 100% on one math test, 97%
on the other and low 90's on the language arts tests. We didn't get this
years results yet. My point is, it's not harder, just poorly implemented. I
imagine if she started with cc instead of just testing to it she would also
struggle on the test. I'm worried about the kids that know only cc.
