I would suspect because martial law is a major thing and it would turn us
into a Police state and i dont know about you i'm not wanting any of that
and i'm afraid i wouldnt be voting for anyone that did that without a good
reason.

I think martial law was declared in LA back in the riots? But it might not
have been, just the NG and the curfew etc
