I think the most important word is *might*. There is no way to know for 
certain if they are interested. The evidence suggests not for else they 
would be subscribed to that other list already.

If you thought your post was long enough, why include some text about 
your own beliefs?

I would be reluctant to ask Michael to keep taking the heat for closing 
what would some people invariably deem the 'wrong' thread.

Impractical. We have had plenty of announcements with wrong links etc.
