They already had been yanked, it was in the books and everything. Bush
caved-in to corporate lobbyists and overturned the law. And I agree with
you, 4 stroke is much better than 2, but that doesn't make it ok for
national parks.

Exactly - the US doesn't agree with how Iraq uses their oil, so we're going
to go in and make sure somebody we DO agree with takes control of it (which
means another cheap source of oil for us).

What you described is yet again, another one of our chess moves backfiring
on us.

We helped the Taliban gain their foothold in Afganistan when we were
fighting the russians off from our 'interests in the middle east'. (btw.
whenever you hear a politician say "our interests in the middle east", you
can just translate that to "our cheap oil in the middle east").
