Grief Adam, Did you read the article you sent? Do you know anything about 2 stroke vs four stroke? If you read carefully they are yanking 2 strokes from yellowstone within a few years. Even if its not quite as good as Clinton did, its pretty good. Also any activity done on snow does very little to damage the underlying fauna unless you actually get thru the snow and contact it. Dirt Bikes on the other hand are a different story.
And do you really think its only about oil? How hard is it to smuggle in some nerve gas into this country? Let me tell you, its quite a bit easier than hijacking 3 airliners in the same day. And if they get nerve gas in here they can do something that makes sept 11 look like childs play. What are you going to say then? Will it still be about the oil? Next up - drilling for oil in and around Yellowstone. (don't believe me? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=Yellowstone+Oil ). The oil industry and our current administration, which you know is just an extension of the oil industry, are actually pushing for more of this. It's like circling hawks moving in on their prey. Is everyone pretty much ignoring that this whole Iraq thing is obviously for the oil? Am I just stating the obvious with that? Do people actually think that it's big bad Sadaam that we're after?
