Hell, I'm not sure it's not my breath. CD drive is a Plextor 16/10/40 as
master on its bus. I generally know my way around hardware issues, but it
just really irks me when I get one that I can't seem to track down. I'm
beginning to wonder if it's my old gameport Sidewinder FF stick. BTW, what
wheel did you use? I don't really have room between my keyboard tray, edge
of desk and 19" monitor to put a driving wheel, but I'm a sucker for new
toys.

Stephanie is right though. The forums are full of people with excellent
hardware having performance issues.

Gamedrive sounds interesting. That's something that I used to be able to
"just do" with my Mac and is one of the few things I miss with Windows. (Cue
Ellen Feiss.)
