How so? You could say that a gun obtained legally is simply a gun waiting to be stolen and used illegally... You seem to be arguing that an abundance of illegal guns should obviously lead us to the conclusion that we need to get more guns into the hands of the populace. I assume it's to protect them from all the illegal guns, right? Sounds fishy to me. Could it be possible, just maybe, that fewer guns in general would mean fewer illegal guns as well? I'm not even saying "no guns". But at this stage we're producing nearly four million new guns a year (let's not even get started on ammo). You don't think that just might be over-doing a little bit? Perhaps, just perhaps a law, well forget that, how about a "suggestion" that you don't own more guns than you can carry at one time? How about that?
