Well, here's the thing. Let's say that I'm a product manager, and I want to build an app. Let's say that I need to find a platform from whence I can build this product. I also want a product that's extensible, and not just in a web framework. I also want a platform where I can find people who already have the skills to use it. So, why would I pick CF? It would only do some of the things. Java does all of the things. .NET does some of the things, but there aren't too many developers using it (although that's changing fast). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
