It all depends on _how_ you fight for oil. For example, if OPEC decided
to quadruple their rates, would we have reason to fight? As a country
that has always pressed for capitalism, how could we go to war over
someone simply raising prices - which is the right of the producer? It
seems like in this case the only 'proper' response would be to see what
these countries import from us and raise the prices on them. Just kinda
rambling now. ;>
p.s. One of my favorite scenes from one of Clancy's books is when Jack
Ryan, as pres of the US, decides that we will 100% mimic the trade taxes
other countries place on our goods.
