They are working on hybrid SUVs, and Ford is supposed to be putting out a hybrid escape.
Supposed to get around 30-40 mpg, much better than the current model. GM and Ford are going to be releasing around 14 hybrid models in the next two model years, they will be based on existing models, with some of the being in their larger vehicles.
