I didn't say I was proud of my reaction, or that I thought it was smart. Just as I can criticize my sister's choice in boyfriends (before she met her husband), but if _you_ do it, we are going to have words.
Also, much of my experience with international voices talking about America was formed in the 70's, specifically on numerous trips to the UN. I have never since seen so many rabid, ignorant, knee-jerk anti-American idiots in one place at one time. Also, what specifically is Trinidad (or any other country) doing to help the world at the moment? What percentage of it's GNP is spent helping others? Again, I have no answers, just opinions.
