Nope -- the Verrazano is pretty big -- three lanes each way.  I love that
bridge, especially as I'm speeding across it on my cycle.

omg the verrazano bridge is that the one that is HORRIBLE and tiny and the
worst designed bridge in history or is that the gothos bridge. I always
confuse the two but that little bridge whoever made it should just be shot.
LOL my gf called me and was like ok you're going to take this bridge but its
really tiny so be careful and i was like oh thats fine it cant be that bad.
But wow 1 inch from walls and traffic on both sides thats concentration it
takes on that bridge ;)

I'm thrilled too.  My father worked across the street from the World Trade
Center during its construction (and lived a stones throw from the Verrazano
bridge during its), and now I'll be witnessing this when my office relocates
downtown in the next month or two...  On the downside, I expect the streets
will be pretty clogged with construction equipment for a _long_ time to
come.
