I've been at my current place of work now for about a year and am now at my breaking point. One of my team members went on a rant today (he goes on frequent rants about pretty well anything) about religion, specifically Christianity, saying how it's nothing but a way to keep rich people rich and poor people poor and what not... Some of the things he's said about Jewish people, I won't reprint here. Although I'm not currently a practicing Christian, my parents and siblings are all still very involved with Christianity. I was deeply offended on a moral and spiritual level at his comments. It's taking everything I have to keep it together right now. This particular person has been called before for inappropriate behaviour. But he still keeps acting this way. I've lost all faith in my manager and his superiors at being able to contain this person. I'm ready to quit tomorrow over this. But I bought a house a few months ago. I still have debts like student loans. I'm making very good money where I am.
