I've looked at some of the other postings.  I would also suggest Mahler
(specifically, his 2nd symphony), and Richard Strauss (an example would be
Also sprach Zarathrusra (sp?)).  I also really like most Rachmaninov and
most Brahms, but they may not be the "loud" classical composers you would
want.

I'm listening to Mahler's 2nd right now, as a matter of fact.

I'm trying out the Real Rhapsody music service.  So far it's pretty darn
cool.  The music selection is varied and encompasses a lot of the bands I
like.  Anyway, I'm trying to put together a classical playlist.  I like the
loud classical pieces in the vein of '1812 Overture','Night on Bald
Mountain','Ride of the Valkyries'.  What are some other suggestions the
