That's nice as a reason but the point is moot to people like me. To us it's a
law from God so we do it. Same with not eating shell fish, eagles, dog, cat,
etc. Actually, the Torah itself says that keeping Kosher is a law that 'just is'
and needs no explanation (some others have explanations).
